Here's what's really bothering me about David's Twitter meltdown and him still being employed by Bernie's campaign

(a small thread coming - small)

1) Women can't behave like in our jobs and if we do there are strong repercussions. We're not offered an opportunity to be a victim
Most of you know I investigate financial crimes and was just promoted to VP within a dept & still doing the work. I get paid very nicely but I'm sure not as much as David Sirota is getting paid.

If I dared to have that emotional reaction to any aspect of my job - I wouldn't have
it or my team would have serious fucking doubts about me.

I'm routinely threatened. I've had to wear bullet proof vests to work, financial crimes can involve drugs and weapons and I'm routinely working with US Marshals, the DEA, etc...and it's already a fucking battle
For them to even trust a woman ,especially one who is 32 years old. It's a man's world in my line of work - but I do it. But in no way would I have a job if I behaved in anyway like David.

"People being me to me on Twitter"

Well bitch, I have a guy in rikers who murdered 3
People and writes me weekly telling me I'm next. I'm not throwing a goddamn pity party

Now my job is definitely different than others but women face multitude of issues in the work place- sexism, racism, discrimination, the list goes on - and you think if they behaved like David
They would still be employed?

Bernie's campaign is a dumpster fire. David's Twitter meltdown & him forever acting like a victim makes him a little bitch.

Women could never EVER get away with the same behavior David displayed last night. Not in any professional capacity. Ever.
TLDR: David Sirota acted like a little bitch last night on Twitter and still has his job.

Women - in a professional setting would never get a pass if they behaved how David did last night.

David Sirota is a little bitch.
