Let's torture ourselves some more in lockdown. What are the best pubs in London? Right off the bat, for me, some of the best:
-The Ivy House
-The Southampton Arms
-The Duke (near chancery lane)
-The Palm Tree
-The Captain Kidd
-The Angel (Rotherhithe)
-The dog and bell (deptford)

And, more importantly, some of the most overrated:
-The Pineapple (with apologies to Sir Keir Starmer
-Anything in shoreditch that's still open
-The Spaniards Inn

My best list is light on central. Tbh I'm fine with that. But maybe I'd add The Nell Gwynn and then The Glasshouse Stores for the amazing distinction of being in Soho and yet usually empty and also not terrible
