1/n..Few raised some concerns regarding the ongoing pandemic. So, here is my thread:
Being the global pandemic, no country was pre ready for handling the crises. Hence, shortage of PPE, masks, kits, face shields, gloves leaves many doctors to treat covid +ve’s dangerously.

2/n. But fact is India acknowledged the crises at earliest and trying fixing the crises by reaching out to the needfuls apart from ordering medical necessities from various global manufacturers keeping the increase of demand in mind. Yes, issue of chain needs to be addressed Asap

3/n..According to @MoHFW_INDIA by April 10, India would import around 1 crore PPE kits which will also include N 95 masks. Also as of now, Modi government started the process of supplying kits to states. Kejriwal, in a statement today thanked PM for 25,000 kits to combat COVID-19

4/n. Also few were concerned about PM-CARES account. PM-NR Fund is specifically for the natural calamities. So, PM-cares is different from PMNRF, which is now for the pandemic like Corona as part of emergency fund collection.
Still WHY question tends to arise?

5/n. PM-NRF has some loopholes and bit arduous unlike PM-CARES, which is far more democratic. But HOW?
PM-NRF has no advisory board instead has managing committee comprising PM, INC President(), TATA trustee, FM, member by FICCI. And PM is sole responsible for disbursing funds

6/n. Whereas PM-CARES has top three union ministers as its member; FM, HM & DM apart from PM, who is the chairman of the committee. Decision making resides also with other three ministers of the government. Hence, Modi diluted the power with the creation of PM-CARES.
