This gentleman in Kerala applied for a vehicle pass so he could travel to Kochi to purchase biscuits for his cats. It wasn't granted. I'm pretty sure the person who turned it down didn't give it much of a thought.

Big Mistake.

Our man went to the Kerala High Court!
Seized of this unusual matter, the court says:

"Today... we have been called upon to respond to the desperate purrs of three felines, whose owner alleges that he was denied a vehicle pass to venture out and purchase “Meo-Persian” biscuits for his cats."
The court grants him permission to travel so he could get his cats their biscuits.

The name of this hero is N. Prakash.

The judges didn't stop there. They go on to say:

"...we are also certain that our directions will help avert a “CATastrophe” in the petitioner’s home."
