I know that ex-convicts cannot hold Board positions in Nigeria, and they cannot vote or be voted for in any national or State elections.

Question for the lawyers - does this apply to convictions relating to the Lagos State Infectious Diseases Regulation 2020?

Just asking!
I know that many employment letters also have clauses that may lead to termination of employments of anyone that becomes convicted of a crime.

So, check your employment letter before you violate some laws.
I know that the option of a fine or payment of a fine does not absolve the conviction. Thanks to those who were thinking of "attacking" me with that line of argument.
Let me tag @Ifeoma_Solanke @tysalihu for this legal advice. Thank you in advance.
