Xerox to mass produce disposable ventilators

Goal: btn 150K/200K a month by June (up to 1 million as needed)
Vortran’s “Go2Vent” could ease pressure on health systems facing patient crush, while *not* a hospital grade vent. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/xerox-plans-produce-disposable-ventilators-n1177551
UC Davis inter. med chair to NBC:
“ICU ventilators are in short supply and will be so for the foreseeable future. This proven, simple low cost ventilator can help fill the gap in the meantime. Doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists need all the help they can get. And fast.”
Majority of corona patients are not critical.

The Go2Vent is already FDA approved, low cost & can be rapidly mass produced.

Hospital grade vents can cost $5K to $50K. This will be approx. $120 a unit.
They project making 40,000 ventilators *this month alone*

Vortran's co-founder and CEO, Gordon A. Wong, said in a statement:

“For all of us, this will be the most important thing we ever do."
