Most parts of Angelica can be used: roots stems, fruits, leaves, seeds, etc.

Personally, I have only used and experienced the root. From what I've read, different parts of the plant have slightly different feelings and properties
It can be found not only as a plant but also as an extract, tincture, essential oil, or cut/dried/powdered root.

From the root and the seeds you can also make teas or your own tinctures

It's also frequently used in gins, absinthes, aquavits, bitters, etc.
What is the mythology around angelica? It's a staple in rootwork, and has long been used for protection.

It was said that Archangel Michael came to a monk in a dream and revealed to him that the root could cure the plague. Hence the scientific name: Angelica archangelica.
Speaking of Archangels, angelica is associated with Archangel Michael and the element of fire.
Some of the medicinal uses of Angelica: anemia, asthma, backache, eczema, gynecological issues, hayy fever, headache, menstruel discomfort, osteoporosis, digestion and circulation.

There hasn't been extensive testing on it so talk to a professional and use at your own discretion
Also it has been used in the past to induce periods and to cause abortions, so if you're trying to procreate then talk to a doctor first.
Metaphysical uses: grounding, connecting matter with spirit, calming, relieving anxiety, reminding one of being loves, relieving negative thought patterns, connecting with source, self realization, deep alignment, PROTECTION, expressing your truth.
It is associated with the root chakra and sometimes the throat chakra as well.

One person used to place angelica root essential oil on the bottoms of her feet to help fight dissociation and to feel present ( https://cathysattars.com/the-breath-of-angelica)
My own experience:

So far, I've only used Angelica root in teas. The flavor is bittersweet and it tingles on the tip of my tongue (not in an allergy way). I feel immediately grounded when I drink it, it felt like I was sinking in the most positive sense of the word.
Additionally, I felt connected and aware of the life in everything. In my journal, I wrote "makes me want to wiggle my toes, open my mind"

It gave me a feeling of openness, a settled stomach.

I also felt pressure at the crown, throat, and root
In addition to feeling very grounded, I also felt very heady. Like when danburite blasts my crown open lol. It was quite pleasant.

I plan on trying to make a tincture with it to see if that feels any different from the tea.
That's the end of this thread for now, I'll likely update it as I learn and experience more. Let me know how you liked it!
