On forgiving abusers (Utsav /Tanmay Bhatt /Ansari). Ppl can change but survivors don& #39;t EVER have to forgive abusers & appreciate their art. It& #39;s OKAY for survivors to be biased against assaulters. We DON& #39;T have to view the world with neutral eyes that erase a history of violence.

I& #39;m SO angry at apologists here saying "everyone deserves chances." You& #39;re WAY out of line telling survivors they should give abusers another chance. We DON& #39;T find their stupid jokes funny anymore. And we& #39;re DAMN well allowed to be angry for as long as we want. How DARE you?

This isn& #39;t about how the *law* should deal with abusive men (I& #39;ve written extensively about the state& #39;s role in handling violence). I& #39;m talking about how *individuals* are allowed to react to abusers & their art. The law should aim to reform. Survivors are allowed to stay angry.
