#JPD is investigating several shootings that took place on last night, one occurring in the lot of Taco Bell in the 3200 block of Hwy 80 W. just after one 1am. An unidentified male suffered multiple wounds and succumbed to injuries after a vehicle was shot into. 1/5

Another male was also wounded but did not suffer life-threatening injuries. A second incident occurred just after 2am in the 5100 block of Ginger Dr. where a juvenile male was struck by gunfire after several shots entered a residence. Injury was not life-threatening. 2/5

A third incident occurred at an apt. complex in the 1300 of block of Forest Ave. just before 3:30am. A juvenile male was fatally wounded after multiple shots were fired into an apt. unit. A fourth occurred just before 4am in the 2400 block of a Williamson Ave. 3/5

There, a male was wounded after multiple shots were fired into a residence. Two vehicles were also impacted by rounds. Injuries did not appear life-threatening. Another residence was shot into just after 5am in the 3900 block of Parkway Dr. however, no injuries were reported. 4/5

Partial descriptions of more than one vehicle were obtained that appear similar in at least 3 of these incidents. A motive is not yet determined however, each of these incidents are believed to be connected. Anyone with info, call #CrimeStoppers at http://601.355.TIPS (8477).
