First off, Mr. Tang Mastermind detectives.

He's baby, and a smart-ass know-it-all

Mastermind detective might be a understatement he is a prodigy and when he talks my brain hurts.

Also he's foodie... And I can probably go on about his character forever because I love him...but this is already taking too long.

Okay I'm jumping around a bit and I am gonna try to stick to the main characters becaues there are a lot of characters in drama rip.

This is Sui Zhou. He's a low ranking army official, coincidentally he is also a amazing detective. A complete badass, a hot head, but also a hottie please this man is so beautiful it hurts.

Anyway and I'm paraphrasing, these two are going to join forces for the greater good of humanity. Hilarity and some feels will ensue. Also I feel like I'm the only one who appreciates amazing fight scenes.. this drama has some of the best I've seen so far.

The only thing you need to know about these two for now is

They really don't like each other.

This is Wang Zhi he is a Commander,

All around weirdo, a bit of a asshole, really hard to like, you gonna want to punch him in the face a lot. he's powerful and cold...but...we all know I kinda have a soft spot for assholes...sooooo

Ok so paraphrasing again there is a a murder, and a missing persons case, Mr. Tang, Sui Zhou and Wang Zhi, all have a stake in it. They all want to or are being asked to solve these cases for different reasons.

At this point I should probably mention the fact that there is A LOT of turmoil in the Royal family His Majesty, is in the middle of it, his mother and wife HATE each other, but a lot of people don't like his wife. She is accused of having her own followers and ploting against

Her mother in law also persuading the king to do things not in his best interest. Wang Zhi is one of her closest confidant. The reason the these unsolved cases are so important is because they involve and concern the royals.

Mr. Tang also writes Romance Novels and is a idealist and I really adore him

This is Mr. Pan he's the local coroner. And is always at odds with Mr. Tang they just have very different work ethics.

Yes we are still on episode one. So to paraphrase AGAIN lol, there are two very important cases right now but are super controversy, and involved the Royals they want to hide these cases as quietly as possible. But the detective trio, is not having it for different reasons

This is Mr. Bin btw he is an associates of Mr.Tang. An advisory of sorts..he tries to look out for Mr. Tang but he is stubborn.

So at the end of ep 1 there are two very high profile cases one is still consider a Missing person, one a Murder, that's being swept under the rug. There are 3 detectives on this case, Mr. Tang is doing it out of moral compass, Sui Zhou at the request of the king

And Wang Zhi, to clear... someone's name

This is already one of my favorite dramas...

The humor

I'm like 16 minutes into this episode and I have not stop laughing... The first few minutes were really sad and serious.. but then they make you laugh for next 20 mins

Time out we might have to finish this episode later because all of a sudden everyone in my house wants to be chaotic and I can't focus

This show is very haunting and beautifully done so far, the colors, the mood it sets.. it's ONLY episode 4 and there has not been a dull moment .....it's really a story you can get lost in. I am glad I started it.
