THREAD
I've been meaning to do this for a while, and now I guess I've all the time in the world
Those who know me in real life (what a throwback!) will know I'm always banging on about sustainability, the environment and climate change activism. It's very much my thing

Sustainable and minimal-waste living are things I've been focused on for a couple of years now, from what I eat everyday to what I buy Through my journalism, I worked alongside @Fridaysforfut18 and called dibs on just about any environmental scoop
After a year or two of weaning myself off meat, I've been vegetarian for four months now and I'm gradually doing the same for dairy I'm by no means perfect, but doing something imperfectly is times better than not doing it at all - and that goes for just about anything.
Disclaimer: fully aware that it's the actions of huge corporations and governments that will have the most impact on climate change. I'm not drinking from a metal straw thinking I'm single-handedly saving the planet Small actions by of lots of people can also make an impact
This isn't intended to be a pressurising, preachy or condescending post. If you're picking up those vibes, you have me all wrong Being kind to the planet isn't hard or expensive and it isn't supposed to make you feel anything but all lovely inside for doing your bit
The key to all this is small changes - and that's what this thread is for, so I can share some of the ones I've gradually made in recent years. It can seem overwhelming to start being more eco-friendly. But I'm a verifiable, full-on eejit, and these have all been a doddle
A major aspect of this that is often overlooked is that is no need to dump your current versions of these if you decide to switch Use them up, recycle if you can No clear-out is needed, no huge haul of new stuff is needed either. Work with what you have first
Here's the thing. You don't need to become a new person overnight. Look at your habits, what you consume on a daily basis and what waste you generate. What's a doable thing/item you could introduce in your routine?
I'm going to add to this thread daily for as long as I can with tips and tricks Please do interact with any advice, recommendations or questions that you think are worth sharing
