In essence, it would be the same system as they have in England- if you can abide by the 2m rule, then you can carry on with your operations. If you can’t, you should down tools. The difference being that Wales was to come down heavier on firms who broke the rules. 2/5
However, today’s @welshgovernment press conference muddied the waters no end with @fmwales stating that it’s not an outright ban, but rather that firms need to take “all reasonable measures” to abide by the rules. 3/5
On Friday, it seemed that Wales was taking a tougher stance on this than England. However, it turns out that the opposite is the case. 4/5
If in England, you can’t abide by the 2m rule, @GOVUK is telling you to stop working. In Wales, if you can’t abide by the 2m rule, @WelshGovernment is telling you that you can crack on as long as you have made “reasonable” attempts to comply. 5/5
