Y’all I’m tired of talking about problem solving, hypothetical or genuine right now.

At the start of all this, I’d see “HOW TO ____ IN THE AGE OF CORONAVIRUS” and immediately tap and scroll, hoping to read something I didn’t already know.

But it’s the same message:

<a THREAD>
✅ Pivot and reposition your offers
✅ Keep selling
✅ Do or don’t be productive, idk

Now don’t get me wrong, it is a solid series of steps!

You’re not incorrect, or silly for discussing them.

I have an offer specific to pivoting/repositioning your message myself.
Messaging strategy is something I’ve been doing for years - it’s fun, fascinating, and more relevant work than it’s ever been.

BUT!

HERE’S THE THING:
Those stabbingly painful painy pain point >> solution conversations aren’t grabbing me anymore in the way they were at the start of this.

And they probably aren’t grabbing you, either.

Maybe because we’re all fried on own hurt. The headlines are screaming it at us every day.
But that doesn’t matter as much as this question:

What IS magnetizing me (and maybe you) right now?

Possibility.

That’s what I’m hungry for.

And not in the “NOW YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO DO XXXX” way.

(Because spare time isn’t something a lot of us are gifted in a pandemic.)
But in the “OK so now you have LESS - time, distractions, resources - what feels MOST important to you?”

What are you aching for?

What has moved from 5th to 1st priority now you realize life is short, and all the rest of the “should-do’s” have fallen away?

That hits different.
And coincidentally, this is the approach working for my clients too.
⚡️ As we speak, business coach client of mine is poised to sell out her launch.

Not because she sold “THIS MASTERMIND = BE YOUR COVID LIFE RAFT,”, but because she honed in on her client’s desire to feel totally confident & clear about how to create sustainable success.
And that’s a message that’ll last far beyond the pandemic too.

⚡️ Another client is focusing on the fact her customers are feeling the called to step up and embody TRULY HUMAN LEADERSHIP right now - and is still bringing in leads for her signature $10k package.
⚡️ Yet another, a CFO, has shifted out of the “money problems/cash reserves” conversation, and into how companies can build the stronger, leaner systems and strategies they’ve always envisioned, that will continue to to bolster them beyond what’s happening now.
⚡️ And yet another future of work expert‘s entire focus isn’t around how to fix what’s terrible. It’s around resilience — though I had no part in this, she’s just brilliant and that’s where that conversation belonged.)

As for me?
There’s a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and now my head has started to clear, all I’m hungry for is more creativity.

To do more of the things I WANT to do in my life and business, not those things I thought I was *supposed* to do.
To talk more, and LOUDER, about the things I value - like joy, color, and freedom.

(So if anyone feels like marketing to me from that angle right now, I’m all ears. 😂)
So maybe the switch up for today is to think about what YOU’RE realizing you want now. What are the possibilities making you excited about the future?

Do you see how that angle changes the internal conversation, and fills you with energy?
Now imagine being able to do that for your clients.

The *possibilities* truly are endless.
