Really funny how I still use an AMD FX-3600 in 2020
Ngl really tempted to buy a new motherboard and a Ryzen 3600 (which is the CPU I wanted for a new computer anyways) and just keep switching out parts until I eventually end up with the new computer I wanted to build
The only issues are that
1.) We're in the middle of a pandemic
2.) I'd have to do some tomfoolery to get Windows working again
3.) I'd end up exhausting literally 85% of my money in buying a Ryzen 3600 and compatible motherboard
I don't think I'd need to worry about getting a new GPU for a while since I have an R9 380, which I'll just swap for a 2060S whenever I come up with another $400. Then after that I'd only need to buy new RAM, an SSD, a hybrid hard drive, and a new case
This is the rig I eventually want to get https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h6dssk
LMAOOOOOO
LMMAAAAAAOOOOOOOOO
Okay so I found a motherboard, if I get it and a Ryzen 3600, I will have ~$50 to my name afterwards and I am incredibly tempted to take that risk.
Fuck I might have to buy new RAM too, I dont remember if I have DDR3 or DDR4 memory
Update on this thread:

So, turns out, I can barely afford getting a Ryzen 3600, 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4 memory, and a compatible motherboard. If I cop the parts, I'll have like $10 to my name. Keep in mind, my CPU is an FX-6300 (a budget CPU released in 2012). Do I cop the new parts?
