wait i havent watched the gose episode but i think mingyu mentally solved an equation sO although i haven& #39;t seen it, i thought id share an easy way to solve it!
OKAY so if you try to like,, mentally solve it the way youd solve on a piece of paper (like fourth digit first then carry over and so on) its going to be difficult and if u miscalculated a digit, it might mess up the over all sum BUT if you round it up its much easier!
since their birth years are all pretty similar, you can easily round up everyones birth years to 2000. since we have one value to work with, simply multiply that with the number of members so:
2000 x 13 : 26000!
2000 x 13 : 26000!
then, we& #39;ll slowly subtracting the years we rounded up!
since we added 5 years for 95z and there are 3 members of that year:
5 x 3 = 15.
then, we& #39;ll take this product and subtract that from our sum earlier. that would be:
26000 - 15 = 25985
since we added 5 years for 95z and there are 3 members of that year:

then, we& #39;ll take this product and subtract that from our sum earlier. that would be:
26000 - 15 = 25985
we& #39;ll use the same logic from the previous step for 96z so it would be:
-> 4 x 4 = 16
-> 25985 - 16 = 25969
-> 4 x 4 = 16
-> 25985 - 16 = 25969
basically repeat those two steps for the remaining age groups!
the numbers we& #39;ll be subtracting are:
3 x 3 = 9
2 x 2 = 4
1 x 1 = 1
then, subtract:
25969 - 9 = 25960
25960 - 4 = 25956
25956 - 1 = 25955
so, our final answer should be:
25955 years!

i& #39;m not sure how mingyu solved it (if he actually added each year one by one then w0w MINGYU BIGGEST BRAIN EVER) but this is one way of doing it! i thought it was much easier to take away small amounts from a big even number than add up big uneven numbers mentally
