“wtFOCK has been set in real-time since the beginning. A plotline that sticks to our current situation is a must.” The creators say. They realise that today’s youth are hard to get to and want to use their platform to display the corona legislations without pointing any fingers.

wtFOCKDOWN started unexpectedly on April 1st (the show’s start and end dates are never announced as to feed the hype), but it quickly showed that this was not a prank. And surprise: the characters are, like you and me, in a “lockdown” in their homes.

The production for wtFOCKdown happens differently now, since they have to take in consideration the corona rulings when filming. This means the actors are filming themselves, from home, instead of being surrounded bu an entire crew. The script is adjusted daily to fit reality.
