The shipment that the US stopped from coming over the border had 3 million masks. Premier Ford says he doesn't know if the province will be able to get new masks in time before the current stock runs out (again he says that will be in a week) #covid19 @citynews

BREAKING UPDATE: Ford government says it has received confirmation the protective masks held up at the border by the US yesterday are being released. A spokesperson also corrected the number of masks - 500,000 (not 3 million as they originally stated.) #covid19

Ford spokesperson tells me they are supposed to receive the masks from the US "in the near future." The Ontario Premier said earlier this morning the supply for healthcare workers will run out in approximately one week. #covid19 @CityNews
