He repeatedly lied about this virus for months, knowing that thousands of lives could be lost, because he thought the death toll would hurt his reelection campaign.

. @realdonaldtrump called the virus a "Democratic hoax" at a February 28th campaign rally, knowing that was not true, but also knowing FoxNews and the mindless sycophants of his base would applaud and perpetuate it.

He has lied over and over and over again while the danger escalated and while we lost time that we can never get back. This is why we have the largest number of cases in the world, why our death rate is rising, and why we have no unified plan to stop it.

He's taunted Blue state governors, silenced doctors, berated reporters with reasonable questions, had navy captains relieved of duty for protecting their people—and left healthcare workers without essential supplies, called them complainers, and suggested they've stolen masks.

He is only the victim of his recklessness and arrogance and incompetence.

If you can't or won't see this at this point, there is something fractured in you that refuses to respond to objective reality because your identity is that tied to him.

Donald Trump is the greatest ally this virus could have ever had and America is paying for his lack of intelligence, character, and leadership.

If you want to pray for anyone, pray for the tens of thousands of families whose loves ones are being sacrificed on the altar of MAGA delusion.
