Thoughts from within a power outage: Twitter is the absolute worst when viewed on a phone. Why does this even exist? All I can see are random tweets from weeks ago.
Samsung Health on my phone is asking me how my week was? It was awful. Everyone's week was awful. Why would you even ask such a thing?
It's about minute 35 of the power outage and I think I'm already cracking up.
I played Farm Simulator briefly when Epic games gave it away, and I remember seeing a solar powered water pump in it, and I thought that was a great idea for situations exactly like the one I'm in now.
The outage map is now showing the entire neighborhood is out, cause unknown, crew has been dispatched. I heard construction vehicles working up the street earlier but now I don't. Coincidence??
It's actually pretty impressive that the power company can update their web site and dispatch a crew in 30 minutes.
I accidentally tried to look at something other than my own thread and it took me like 5 minutes to find my own tweets again to continue where I left off.
So for my own protection, all of Twitter is now reduced to just this thread on my phone screen and I have no idea what else might be happening in the world, because the Twitter app is really quite ridiculous.
