This thread is NOT for the ones who chose to wear the Hijab without fearing Hell, family, friends or imprisonment. If you genuinely feel that it strengthens your personal relationship with God, then great! This isn't to tell you that you are oppressed. (2)
It is to give voice to those countless women who feel suffocated by toxic modesty culture and theocratic regimes that enforce compulsory headscarf/burkha/niqab (3)
