What Galonski is referring to is the International Criminal Court in Hague located in the Netherlands and was created to investigate & try individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community. Will refer to the court as ICC for the thread.

As a lawyer and a United States Rep, Galonski should know that in 2002, the UN Secretary was advised by @AmbJohnBolton that the United States had no intentions of being a party of tv Rome Statue of the ICC. That stance has not changed.

Another piece of information Galonski should have known is that in 2019 the ICC sought to investigate Americans in Afghanistan. In March of same year, Secretary Pompeo announced he will repeal/deny visas to the ICC court staff. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/trump-admin-ban-entry-international-criminal-court-investigators-n983766">https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/...

March 5, 2020, ICC Appeals Chamber rendered a decision to open an investigation into Afghanistan. However, the chamber used language that will allow the pre-trial chamber to accept deferrals from Afghanistan & are only required to assess.
