Republicans seem awfully invested in keeping Democratic-leaning voters standing in long limes while they ensure their own lines are short (putting more machines per capita in their districts and widely voting absentee). have a low-paid, often senior citizen poll worker tell you "sorry, your name's not on the list." They are really invested in this and were even before the pandemic. Remember when Mitch McConnell killed HR1, the very first House bill when Nancy Pelosi resumed as speaker?

And Trump also said letting all of y'all vote absentee will make it so no Republican ever gets elected again. Why would that be? THEIR voters vote absentee all the time. So here's a thought: maybe don't wait for Mitch and Trump or your right wing state government's permission. You see the chaos we have now. Register for an absentee ballot now. And call your local reps to demand more time if the deadline has passed. Petition your government.
It is 2020, not 1920. We are already a supposedly modern country that can't manage to manufacture masks or ventilators to save our own lives. We should no longer be a country where folks stand in line to vote but somehow manage to file their taxes by mail. #EverybodyVoteAbsentee
