1/2. I was called today @BasildonHosp to anoint a #Covid19 patient. I was a bit nervous but God was with me.After putting all the medical garments I proceeded into the ward.I found the patient Margaret and started the anointing. I almost burst into tears to see her and the others
so weak and vulnerable, unable to breathe on their own. I continued the anointing, but also prayed for all the others in that Ward who were alone. I asked God for their protection and healing. I beg all of you please stay home, and to the Catholics that are angry because they
have no masses, please understand that we’re doing it because we don’t want to be irresponsible and get more people sick. It was devastating seeing so many people in that ward sick, unconscious and most likely dying. Please stay home as we’re not invincible,we are weak and fragile
I’m actually feeling down after what I saw today in that ward, so please when doing your prayers say an extra one for me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😔" title="Pensive face" aria-label="Emoji: Pensive face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😔" title="Pensive face" aria-label="Emoji: Pensive face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😔" title="Pensive face" aria-label="Emoji: Pensive face">
Please pray for Margaret and for all the others that are sick, alone and dying. Also for the doctors, nurses, cleaners and other staff members that in their kindness are giving so much of themselves. I hope if I ever I’m sick n that position, I would be cared for as much as they do
