So @AnnelieseDodds @LiamFox @RishiSunak @Keir_Starmer I now find myself in the absurd situation where a UK university is asking me to pay for lab services early so they can pay staff, but where I have next to no income b/c as an owner-director of ltd micro business I get no help.

Care to help me square this circle? B/c so far I've cut my income by 60%, cancelled pension contributions, cancelled childcare vouchers, talked to my accountant about cutting their services. It's a seasonal business - putting off paying tax/VAT doesn't help.

The knock-on effects of this callous decision to exclude owner-directors from government help has the potential to be hugely damaging to the economy. I have an MSc, I'm a chartered ecologist, I've run a business for 10 yrs with no debt.

Is the aim really to force people like me to close my business? B/c it sure feels like it is. And frankly why bother reopening it when this is all over?
