I also think fullbringer reputation is fitting. Yes its the arc that attempts to deepen ichigos character, but i don& #39;t think its done in an interesting or particularly well executed way. The arc asks ichigo, how can he protect his friends w/out his powers. The answer? He can& #39;t

What makes this particularly unsatisfying is that all of ichigos friends up to that point have spent the series being relatively useless, (save Orihime& #39;s infrequent healing) and they spend the entire arc saying they& #39;ve grown and don& #39;t need his help. Only to THEN need his help.

Really turns all their scenes into a joke. I think it would& #39;ve been better for his friends to actually do the saving this arc. This is attempted with the captains (Rukia moment is very good) but for the most part, they& #39;re not the ones who need protecting so it doesn& #39;t stick

Plus the villain was ass butter. So yeah the arc doesn& #39;t get points from me cause it shifts to character focus instead of action focus. It still needs to be ~good~.
