3/ @Gisha_Access asks to immediately lift crippling restrictions on Gaza - esp. entry of dual-use goods for farming & fishing sector & exit of processed food products - to ensure food security & prevent economic collapse under weight of COVID-19.

4/ In contrast, Norway/AHLC only asks Israel to "continue to facilitate access & movement" of medical supplies & relevant materials - as if it was broadly OK. Asks of Israel are at the bottom of the list - despite its overriding responsibility under int'l law.

7/ I can already hear people saying: now we have to put politics aside & only focus on coronavirus crisis. But COVID-19 is exactly what makes stopping policies & restrictions that exacerbate the health & econ crisis now more important than ever.

8/ Not to forget: the same Israeli policies also undermine effectiveness of the very assistance given by AHLC donors like EU. Lifting restrictions would allow Pals to be more self-sufficient & decrease dependency on aid. But the same donors seem too timid to even just suggest it.
