my theories about the 'Oh my god' MV - a thread

so it all starts with minnie. on the teaser she says she tried to find salvation. she's a human trapped into a lie that is pure, but still makes her suffer, so she's trying to find a way out.
she opens the "door" to find yuqi, another human who isn't trapped in lies neither truth. she seems to be pure, but not against her will.
she passes by a vision of soojin, but that doesn't affect her, until she falls and sees miyeon; a goddess of perfect balance between truth and lie who captures yuqi's heart.
yuqi starts falling for miyeon, who sets both minnie and yuqi free by spilling the red drink that makes them find the true versions of themselves.
meanwhile, soyeon was on the same place as minnie, with the same door, trapped in lies. she just didn't seem so bothered by it: she focused on being set free (just like she says in the lyrics).
that's when she drinks from the same red drink miyeon spills and finds her true self.
now we are introduced to soojin, the goddess of truth. she seduces soyeon and makes her fall deeper into her true self. soojin is surrounded in purple lights and that brings us to shuhua
shuhua is the goddess of lies and she sings about colouring herself purple just for the one she loves: soojin.
meanwhile, soojin is the first goddess to sing the chorus "she took me to the sky" and shuhua is shown right after.
miyeon and yuqi fall deeply in love with each other; miyeon talks about how insanely beautiful yuqi is, and yuqi quite literally falls for miyeon completely.
now we see ourselves in a sort of love triangle: soojin traps both shuhua and soyeon in the same space, meaning they're both in love with her, but she must choose the one she loves 'from the bottom of her heart'
she then chooses shuhua, and that makes her change from being bathed in purple to red, the color that symbolizes love and finding your true self throughout the whole video. she loves shuhua from the bottom of her heart — ab imo pectori.
also, see that scene right there? when the lights are up, we see soojin, but when it goes down and there's only a sillouette, that's shuhua, symbolizing she and soojin have the same feelings now.
meanwhile minnie is falling deeper and deeper into the truth. the three humans of the beginning are all consumed by red scenes and darker visuals, which symbolizes truth.
at the end of the teaser, minnie says
"oh god, there is no need for salvation. for I am no longer a prisoner."
consumed by truth, minnie sees that she is no longer trapped in lies - whether this makes her happy or not.
we also see other symbolisms such as soojin holding an apple, 'the forbidden fruit', that here means falling in love with a girl, and minnie getting darker and more hurt as the mv progresses.
the story shows that love can sometimes set you free, sometimes it can hurt you, and sometimes it can do both.
and yes, that means they said gay rights and that's not even a reach.
anyways stan g i-dle and stream oh my god, I hope you liked this thread, that's just what I interpreted from watching in my point of view, feel free to make your own theories too 🖤
