Dvwn debuted on the 16th of December 2019 with his digital single Defibrillation, Vol.1 (새벽 제세동 Vol.1), under KOZ Entertainment
His first debut in the music scene was in 2017. He rose in popularity with sensitive vocal style among music lovers around SoundCloud.
In 2018, Dvwn announced self-made debut EP [Panorama] and got gradual recognition for his singing and composing ability.

DVWN change his name from DA￦N in 2019. He’s have been working closely with Zico. He’s been helping Zico in Produce X 101 SIXC track Move and recently featured in title track of ZIco ‘Thinking part 2’ album title track Being Left.
He worked together with MinGtion and Kim YeonSeo in writing the lyrics for GFriend "Dreamcatcher"!

Why the name dvwn?
He went by dawn for a while but when he was promoting people know his real name so it they just kept calling him by it so he changed it
He even thought about using the name “thumb” meaning the best as a joke and another one is “I’m done”

He wanted someone with a nerdy voice and when he wrote his song he could only think of him so Zico made it happen
