A lot can happen in a marriage.

Say you married a billionaire &u also have your own independence. Sign that damn agreement because if he loses everything,the courts take all that belongs to him. If you’re in COP, they’ll take yours as well. If you were not in COP, you’d have options to rebuild/save your family.

Or, he loses his job and now you’re the breadwinner, full time. You support your man & try to rebuild. Then he cheats impregnates other people. The courts will serve you with papers to pay child support for those children because he’s your husband and you’re the one working.

Or, divorce. You see a different side of this person and they’re fighting dirty. They’ll take all your money even when they have their own. Someone bought her parents a house before she met her husband. Divorce time, that guy demanded a split of the girl’s parents’ house too.

Hey man. There are too many scenarios and I am not well educated on the subject but what I know is that ukuwa komuntu akuna VIP. It’s not always about divorce. I’d rather be able to help my husband & save my family if shit hits the fan, than be left with nothing.
