Films that _could_ have been better than what they were with a different crew/cast - a thread. tell me what you guys think too.

1. Dasavathaaram: Writer - Sujatha(along with Kamal Haasan)
Director - Shankar
Music - AR Rahman

2. Nanban: Trisha instead of Ileana
Siddharth instead of Srikanth
Writing - Sujatha and Crazy Mohan possibly collaborating. Alpa aasai, and Sujatha had passed away by then, RIP. :(

3. Kaappaan: Writing(MAJOR) - Subha(Thani Oruvan, Ayan, Anegan) - The winning combination could have made such a huge difference
Literally anyone in the place of Sayyesha
Ashok Selvan instead of Arya(?)

4. Soodhu Kavvum - the film is GREAT as it is, but it would be interesting to see what Thiagarajan Kumararaja would have brought to the table as a writer.

5. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam - a different take would be to revamp the entire cast with Malayalam actors. Mohanlal as Senapathy, Biju Menon as Varadhan, Prithviraj as Thiagu, DQ as Ethi and Fahad as Rasool. Or Fahad plays Varadhan and VJS remains as Rasool.

6. Raavanan -
Writing - Kumaravel - he's been a part of a lot of mythological plays and is co-writing Ponniyin Selvan. Could have been different

2.0: Writing - Sujatha(could have repeated the magic of Endhiran) or Kamal Haasan - who was originally supposed to star in Endhiran and could have brought something to the table.

7. Vikram Vedha - again, great film. But I would have loved to see PC Sreeram or Santosh Sivan behind the camera.(PS Vinod, the cinematographer, actually worked under Santosh Sivan)
Also, A Malayalam remake with Prithvi as Vikram and Fahad as Vedha.

8. Thupparivaalan:
Someone like 'Eeram' Aadhi or even Karthi instead of Vishal.(Unpopular Opinion?)
Santosh Narayanan music. Would have been an interesting background score too.

9. Aanandha Thaandavam - Adapted from Sujatha, this film could have been SO much better.
Director - GVM - The father-son relationship, USA-India dichotomy, and the two contrasting romance stories, all scream of GVM (1/2)

Cast - Siddarth instead of Siddarth Venugopal, Nazriya instead of Tamannah, Parvathy instead of Rukmini.
