Status: staring blearily at science advocacy/ #scicomm responses to the 5G/Covid-19 myth that rely on explanatory interventions that it's pretty clear from the anti-antivax and other cases *are not persuasive to the people they'd need to persuade in order to be of any use*.
It's certainly worth circulating accessible materials on what viruses are and how disease transmission isn't like signal transmission and how the hell anything in the twenty-first century can possibly need a "mast" and so forth. This will have other #scicomm benefits anyway. But
telling people what to do on no justification other than your professed scientific or medical authority doesn't work. Calling people stupid doesn't work. Picking at decontextualised details doesn't work.

Explaining Popperian falsifiability theory REALLY REALLY doesn't work.
