During this current crisis @VodafoneIreland is cutting off service for people & making it difficult to raise data caps, even for people willing to pay. So, if you're WFH and a wired connection is not feasible, you're screwed. Play along Vodaphone! This isn't business as usual.
While I am fortunate to have a solid wired connection, not everyone who is WFH in a rural community does. You need to do your part, @VodafoneIreland. You can solve this. DMs are open. This is unacceptable in this current time.
"It's not our fault people don't have a good wired connection." I get that, and that's a fine hill to die on. However, you could solve this, and given the current situation, it's the right thing to do for people still in a job and WFH. And they are willing to pay!
As a business owner, I find myself in the ridiculous situation of trying to help, being willing to subsidise, but I can't. The customer service experience is being passed person to person for an eventual 10GB for a tenner. That's it. This is not acceptable.
