On Saturday I had to drop some provisions to my son. It was so hard to not give him a big hug & to stand 2 metres away, *sigh*
But we used the time to walk there with Lily & it was one of the clearest days... So clear, I could see Princetown!

Here& #39;s Sheeps Tor. I have *never* seen it from this vantage point before. I couldn& #39;t believe it when I saw it!
We go there often, so next time I& #39;m taking the binos to see it I can make out this spot

Here& #39;s the Hemerdon tungsten mine, formerly owned by Wolf Minerals. If you zoom in, you can see the solar field. Currently, that sits on what was at the top of a wooded area where we used to do Easter egg hunts for our kids.

The wood got ripped down the following year. I cried a lot.

The tors on the left are ENORMOUS and are just past the Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale. Yup,nice been at the top of those too, but for the life of me I can& #39;t remember their names right now. It& #39;s also s good spot to watch sparrow murmurations
Here& #39;s a close up of a Palmerston folly: Eggbuckland Keep!
It was up for sale a little while ago, but sadly it went for slightly more than the 50p I could offer...

Popped down to see the final resting place of Sgt. Atwell, and the moon was looking fine in the clear blue sky

Anyway, the point of this thread: sometimes, you just have to take stock of what you have around you. Sometimes you just have to *see* the beauty that is there, but you just overlooked it because it& #39;s everyday noise to you.
Take notice of what you have, & rejoice in it xxx
