Important thread. A lot of people are conflating "had underlying medical issues" with "were three weeks away from dying from cancer". (Full disclosure: I had a pulmonary embolism in 2013 and three TIAs in 2015, and my back hurts. I like to imagine that this doesn't count as "underlying medical conditions", but I don't know.)
