Here, Son of shakuntala King Bharat's 7th generation was the King Shantanu in Hastinapur.
And parallely, King Harishchandra's son Rohit was the King of Ayodhya (as in serial Vishwamitra) at the time of King Bharat.

And almost 7-8th generations later, there was King Dashrath in Ayodhya.
So, which means the both epics occurred simultaneously ?
