I’m gonna do this cause I’m really that bored and hey maybe you’ll find a new song in this thread
Alright so I’m gonna drop like 5 songs right now because if I do this over 30 days I’m just gonna forget
1. Forest Green // Odd Future, Mike G
2. Fifteen Minutes // Mike Krol
3. Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang // Silver
4. Anytime Babe // Three Dog Night
5. Are You Gonna Be My Girl // Jet
Hey it’s me! Back again with ten more songs! This time I’ll explain why I love them!
Blame It on the Boogie // The Jacksons
The groove is so infectious I literally cannot stay seated when this song plays. It holds a special place in my heart.
Streets // Doja Cat
When you’re alone in your car with your thoughts, it’s nice to have a low-paced song to keep you company. The lyrics hit, and Doja is a queen.
She Don’t Know // Zach Callison
Zach’s whole album plays like a broadway musical. All the songs weave together into a fantastic and terrifying story. It’s incredible, and it’s so. very. real. I love how this song has frantic drums and a calm, collected piano to counter it.
Danny Don’t You Know // NSP
Ninja Sex Party writes really funny music, but it’s always really well done. This song is so wholesome, and reminds me of my friends belting it in the car on one of our drives.
10. Impossible Year // P!atD
The buildup just gets me man, his voice is so incredible and the imagery he paints is amazing. Singing along to this song feels like a beautiful release of pent up emotion.
I’m done for now. See y’all tomorrow
11. MOOO! // Doja Cat
This song is just so much fun to sing with a car full of people I unironically love it
12. Summerboy // Lady Gaga
I played the hell out of my The Fame CD when I was 10. This song is and always will be top tier. It’s so fun to get into the groove and enjoy the cute vibes!
13. Free Bird // Lynyrd Skynyrd
God this song makes me want to start driving and never stop. The guitar solo is leg. end. dary. And I felt so conflicted cutting it off to make this clip.
14. Best of My Love // The Emotions
It’s such a fun song that sings about wanting to share your devotion to someone to the world. It’s hands-down a perfect song to represent how lucky you feel to be with the one you love.
15. Killing Me Softly // Youngblood Brass Band
Every time this song starts playing I instantly stop whatever I’m doing, turn it up, and take it in. It’s full of so much passion and energy and it drives me crazy when I hear it. This is a really talented group of musicians.
See it’s been 3 days and I already forgot about this
16. Stacy’s Mom // Fountains of Wayne
This song is the definition of a classic from the early 2000’s. Thank you Bowling for Soup for bringing this song into the light because it’s so amazing.
17. Take Me or Leave Me // RENT
THE HARMONIES. THE ANGER. THE SEXUAL TENSION. It would be a dream to duet this with someone (if I had the range🤭) Maureen made me realize that being bisexual was a real thing when I was a kid and it helped me realize that I was bi.
18. Ms. Jackson // OutKast
I love OutKast, I’m honored to know this classic came out the year I was born
19. Vienna // Billy Joel
He writes songs so specially that it feels like he stole the thoughts from your brain. I love this song, it makes me think about who I am and who I’m going to be. It was the first song I listened to in the car on my way to college.
20. Moonlight Serenade // Glen Miller
I come up with a new story every time I listen to this song. An army man reuniting with his wife after the war, a song that plays in the distance during a first kiss on the balcony. The song hits me in the gut, I love it.
