"China has to be made accountable its complete lack of transparency. China could have prevented a great deal of loss, had they been honest but they never have been honest" - Judge Jeanine

I dont understand the point the Right is making.....

by claiming that the severity of cv19 in America is tied to the Chinese underreporting their deaths

I understand the point they think they are making and why it is being made, "if only China would have been honest POTUS would have been able to do more"

thus absolving Trump from wrongdoing. The prob;em comes when you ask how do they know China lied and the answer is what Jeanine says or a variation thereof

This does not accomplish the goal of absolution/blame shifting they think it does

because if China lies simply because they are China then everyone especially POTUS would be skeptical of China's claims. POTUS should have been skeptical of Xi and on the lookout for any signs of underreporting because China always lies

Instead POTUS sd on Jan 22, "we have it totally under control. Its one person coming in from China. we have it under control iIts going to be fine"

on Jan 30, "were working very closely w/ China & other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for us"

it goes on like this for 14 more days until the pandemic is declared on March 13

now, if our problem is China's failure to report accurate numbers and everyone knows - including POTUS - that Xi is lying the only plausible take away is that Trump was played for a sucker

Xi isnt overreporting his deaths tht wld be asinine, cause China always lies the response to Xi's info should have been emphatic but it was the exact opposite that means either Xi tricked Trump into thinking the lie was that he was overreporting deaths
