We should not have needed to create a petition for hazard pay. We should not have needed to lose our jobs and wages for wanting to wear gloves and masks. We should not have had to spend a single second advocating for paid preventative leave.

These should have been guaranteed.

The company dedicated their attention to union-busting instead of taking action to protect the lives of the crew that has helped this company make record profits. We should not need to fight for our humanity to be valued. We should not have to die before our concerns are heard.

The people breaking down pallets, stocking shelves, and ringing up customers are essential. The bosses telling us to ignore our own needs are not.
