Next year’s #Arrowverse crossover is Starro and here’s why*

We’ve been hearing a lot about Atlantis lately. Flash has given us no less than two Atlantis name drops, which likely means somebody discovered a new toy - we might not be able to Aquaman, but we can Atlantis.

So, if not Aquaman, what Atlantean can we meet?

I imagine Mera’s off the table, and that Kaldur’s a shoe-in for the DCEU’s Aqualad, so that leaves us a couple of Aquagirls and Garth, the original Aqualad, aka Tempest.

I’m gonna say Tempest, but any of the three could work here.

So we’ve got Tempest, the first big Justice League story, and a problem that involves Atlantis but is mostly solved on affordable dry land. See where I’m going with this?

If you’ve been paying attention, you might remember that during one of Kid Flash’s big off-screen soul-searching adventures, he claimed to have fought a “giant starfish”, an event that was brought up again in a blog post in The Fiddler episode.

If the implication there is Starro (name another giant starfish, I dare you) then it’s likely he didn’t do it alone. What if he, Garth, maybe Arsenal, and perhaps even a fourth young hero teamed up to take it down, and then sent its remains with Garth to Atlantis?

As is often the case, Starro could be released in Atlantis and go even harder in his attempt to conquer the Earth. Garth would get in contact with either Kid Flash or Cisco (who just spent some time down there), who would get the newly-formed Justice League on it.

(Hell, our makeshift Titans could even chip in if those strings could be pulled)

We know the crossover’s gonna have to be a lot smaller than Crisis, so each episode could consist mostly of each show’s cast dealing with basically becoming starfish-faced zombies. All our big fights would be with cast members we already have, save for the big finale.

- Canon Arrowverse Titans
- Technically pretty simple
- Superhero zombies
- Starro babyyyyy
- Maybe Kid Flash is there?

What more could we ask for, really
