For most of my life, I struggled with confidence issues. Long story. But I was able to work on it. It took years!

Recently, I felt it creeping back in and it hasn't been pleasant.
My first step to working on it was to admit that I was feeling that way. Bitter pill to swallow...
It was however necessary.

We all have our insecurities and admitting that we feel the way we feel is a very huge and underrated step to overcoming them.

We can then look for ways to get ourselves back in the right frame of mind.
Having the right people around me has been immensely helpful and I'm grateful for that.

It's very important to have people who will tell you as it is, without sugar-coating anything.

Ultimately, though, your own effort is imperative if you don't want to be stuck in negativity.
You won't have it all figured out in a day but every baby step counts.

Don't rush it. Don't beat yourself up if the progress is slow.
