i'm just gonna say smth, cancel culture loses its original point the second you start harassing ppl after they apologized, bc you can't say you want to educate someone and hope they would do better if you keep bringing up their mistakes against them at any given chance

if someone apologized you can just leave it at that, not many ppl give fake apologies bc most ppl would just deny what they did and try to act like it never happened, but if someone fucked up and tried to own up to what they did, why u keep bringing shit up to make them feel bad?

i understand you want to educate them and tell them what they did or said was wrong but when you start holding up things against them all the time you literally make it harder for them to learn from their mistakes but that's just my opinion

educate ppl, try to talk to them and tell them they fucked up and if they don't apologize then you have your reasons to bring shit up, but if they apologized there's really no need to hold it up against them every single time
