It's alarming how many people there are (including me!) who are fans of Hamilton without ever actually seeing the show. Have you ever seen anything like that? There's something to be said about @Lin_Manuel's music there.

It's so interesting. Why do people like something SO MUCH even though they've never actually SEEN it?

I say "people," but I mean me, as well. I have never seen a full performance of Hamilton and I LOVE that music. It makes me dance.

If something makes me dance, it's very good.

I think it speaks volumes of just how much hard work Lin-Manuel put into this show. It is iconic already, and basically universally loved. I know people who don't like rap one bit, who don't like History one bit, and who LOVE Hamilton. I haven't even heard of someone who doesn't.

(Except my parents, but they hate everything.)

This thread was, of course, inspired by the latest episode of "Some Good News" that @johnkrasinski hosts. I love that show and I hope it continues even after this virus is dealt with.
