/6 Let's let the numbers give us all the proof we need to stay inside this month.

The U.S. accounts for 4.25% of the world's population, but 26% of the Coronavirus cases. Below are the countries with the most cases, excluding China, whose figures are dubious at best.
/6 The US accounts for 35% of the Coronavirus cases per day.
/6 Testing has increased significantly, to ~130K tests/day. About 1.4M Americans have been tested. However, this is only 1.4% of our population.
/6 According to Worldometer, of the most impacted countries (ex/ China), only France has issued fewer tests per 1M citizens.
/6 All this is to say that we don't yet know with any reasonable certainty, how many of currently are carriers of the Coronavirus. It can take a few weeks for symptoms to show.
/6 If you live in the hold-out states of Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, both Dakotas or the states who have only issued partial "stay at home" orders (Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma and South Carolina), please join the rest of us in working to flatten this curve. It takes all of us.
