If you do psychic stuff for a living, working with clients, doing readings, etc etc etc and you are living in the epicenter or a place where many are dying from CV you HAVE TO BE CAREFUL and not just physical health
It's not that you can't "handle" it - because you can - but you also have to - and hear me out - you have to become one with it - wrap yourself around it - to bear it. And to let it move through you, in and around you, permeate you, flow thru you, and move on.
You shouldn't hold it, shouldn't "hold space," or any of that. You have to make yourself permeable so it can flow through you. As though you were made of 1000 holes and the cries of the grieving and the spirits of the dead flowed through you. This is an energetic shift on yr part
Sounds counterintuitive, I know. That making yourself permeable/flexible/light is actually what is needed, for you and for any you counsel. This is different than depth or analysis. This is an energetic shift on yr part and once
and once you do this & remember to do this every time you read a news story (avoiding the news is NOT the answer) that hurts you & you feel it in your body, make yourself permeable for the fear/grief/panic to pass through. Just let it pass by you like the angel of death
When I read the story about the tiger I nearly fainted. I grasped in an instant the totality of this situation. You can't really grasp a totality of a crisis and continue. It flattened me. Was like fainting without fainting. I downloaded the situation thing in that moment and
it made me weak. For a few hours I was just gone until I got up to make my Patreon audios & ground. Now I'm back to myself, grasping reality just a drop at a time, which is necessary for functioning. You can't grasp the totality of global trauma and function & we have to function
These thoughts can give you insight into your own trauma. We grasp bits at a time to survive. When we grasp the whole we risk losing sanity and stopping function. Sometimes it becomes to safe enough to grasp it all but it's a risk. And yet we are a resilient creature.
So. My advice. Don't hold space. Don't be solid. These days. But I'm not saying be in denial or avoid the news. I'm saying be permeable and let the daily horrors move through you. Don't stop to pet them. Let them keep moving.
And I'm not saying it's easy. Just saying try it. And in this thread not even talking so much about clients. More about just being ALIVE at this time. And if you are news hound like myself.
