Roasted carrot soup with bacon, thinned soured cream, and scallions, plus a crostini made from the baguettes from a few days earlier.
Pork belly banh mi with quick pickled onion, radish, and carrot, with sriracha mayo and nuoc cham on homemade baguettes
Biscuits with chocolate gravy, per @jesshmiller88’s request. (I’d never had chocolate gravy before, but this was...interesting and pretty good.)
Crispy skin roast chicken quarters with crispy roasted potatoes (both @kenjilopezalt recipes) and sautéed broccolini and shallots, with an onion pan sauce.
