When that one-and-done rule gets tossed (which it will, soon) and kids can start jumping straight to the draft, recruiting becomes an entirely different ballgame

You’re not just all chasing after the same 5-star recruits anymore. Player development will actually start to matter again. A lot of these kids that go unnoticed in HS (due to nba draft prospects) and end up at mid-major schools - will be looking to play at bigger schools

While simultaneously not being ready to jump from San Diego State to the draft (because they’re probably not going 1st round yet w/ HS prospects eligible for draft).
