What makes it fair for me to sit comfortably in my childhood bedroom while there are others who have to take the same classes but bear enormous financial responsibilities? This is unjust regardless of the crisis, but the problem is exacerbated with it. 3/12
How does this inequity comport with our school’s values? And in all likelihood, our friends and family will get sick during this crisis. If our professors and students catch the virus, are we expected to continue with business as usual? 4/12

At the same time, are we not doing a disservice to our communities, prioritizing fiddling with equations and formatting essays for a grade while people are losing their jobs and health insurance and we’re headed for a Second Great Depression? 6/12

The students living in abusive households.
