First #Covid_19 experience today- reinforces the atypical symptoms that may be present at diagnosis. A newly diagnosed MDS patient with anemia (normal WBC, ANC and platelets) in her 60's admitted with a 3-4 day history of nausea, vomiting, abd pain, inability to tolerate PO. /1
No diarrhea, no loss of taste or smell. No cough, SOB, respiratory symptoms, fevers, night sweats, chills. Clinically stable. Not on oxygen. /2
Had a known COVID exposure 14 days prior to admission (i.e. 11-12 days before symptoms started). /3
