At the end of a month of escalation - I can say I've seen compassion and determination in the front lines, and an exceptional amount of resilience in the people planning. Contributions by colleagues, researchers, lab folks, IPAC, environmental services, porters, and many more
I've also seen many people fall in the trap of alarmism, pessimism, and a dismissal of real evidence. I urge all of you, citizens and healthcare workers, review the evidence, have faith in your public health and ID/IPAC folks, and know that the evidence evolves and we will adapt
This will be with us for the future, and we need to be playing on the same site. As my first quote many weeks ago mentioned, and it needs to be reemphasized. Be KIND to one another. We are all dealing with the hand we've been dealt, and we have to be on the same team.
