When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday, the crowd wanted to crown him as their king, but he roundly rejected their designs for him because he had not come to earth to lead one nation in its political pursuits...

Jesus was absolutely clear when he said, "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36).

Jesus reminded his listeners that his call was not to one particular nation, nor was his kingship one of political power. Rather it was to rule in the hearts of men and women who understood his higher call for us to be citizens of Heaven and sons and daughters of God. #PalmSunday
